About Zac Weidler At the age of 17, Zac Weidler started his dream, the dream of being a show choir choreographer. Zac was born on Feb. 25, 1988 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Growing up in Fort Wayne he attended Price Elementary where he learned his passion for music with a very passionate teacher Mrs. Amy Maupin. After fifth grade, Zac moved out to the Northwest Allen County School area. He attended Carroll Middle School where his choir director encouraged him to audition for the Carroll High School show choirs. With the encouragment of his teacher, he auditioned and made JV Singers. Under the direction of Carla Doles, Zac participated in many choral programs, as well as Minstrel Magic. In 2004 Carroll Show Choirs went under the direction of Jill Jeran. While working with Jeran he was given the opportunity to choreograph several "Fall Previews' for Minstrel Magic, JV Singers and Beginning Chorus. This opportunity gave him the experience he needed to start his choreography business, "Zac Weidler Choreography" after he graduated in 2006. Shortly after graudating, Zac started working with the North White Middle School Ambassadors from Monticello, Indiana. While working with them, he choreographed several shows including fall concerts, Christmas, and competition shows. In 2007, Zac started working with Bellmont High School's Brave Generation and LEGS, located in Decatur, Indiana, Southern Wells High Schools mixed group and Norwell Middle School "Knight Stars." Zac is proud of all his groups and their accomplishments and is looking forward to the coming year and hopes to share his passion with more groups around the midwest. |
